Lifeboat offers a range of professional engagement services to assist in the design, implementation and optimization of customer solutions. The following on-site services packages are available as standard. Call your Lifeboat rep if you have questions or need to discuss any special requirements. DataCore Virtualization Services Packages

Lifeboat offers the following on-site DataCore professional engagement services. All services are provided by Lifeboat's DataCore Certified Implementation Engineers (DCIE).

DataCore High Availability FastStart

Duration:

3 Days Professional Services

Requires:

2 DataCore SANmelody or SANsymphony licenses. (DataCore MPIO and DataCore VSS are optional.)

Description:

Installation, configuration, Functional Test Plan execution, and knowledge transfer for 2 DataCore (SANmelody or SANsymphony) servers in a synchronous HA configuration. Integrate a high performance, highly available, and highly scalable storage infrastructure into any supported application server environment (i.e. Microsoft Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMware, MacOS, etc.). Utilize any combination of iSCSI, Fibre Channel, or FCoE in the storage area network.

Features/Functionality implemented include:

  • Thin Provisioning
  • Synchronous Mirroring
  • Snapshots
  • iSCSI and/or Fibre Channel Targets
  • Storage Domains

DataCore Proxy Volumes for EZ Data Migration

Duration:

Adds 1 Day to DataCore High Availability FastStart

Requires:

At least 1 DataCore Proxy Volumes license

Description:

Utilize existing storage with existing data/LUNs intact (regardless of filesystem and application server OS) for easy migration of data.

DataCore SANmaestro for Reporting and Capacity Planning

Duration:

Adds 1 Day to DataCore High Availability FastStart

Requires:

At least 1 DataCore SANmaestro license

Description:

Provide robust reporting and "What if?" analysis to DataCore storage infrastructure.

DataCore AIM Node for Disaster Recovery

Duration:

Adds 1 Day to DataCore High Availability FastStart

Requires:

3 DataCore SANmelody/SANsymphony licenses ( 1 additional to 2 licenses required for DataCore High Availability FastStart)

Description:

Provide asynchronous IP mirroring for DR purposes.

DataCore Traveller for True CDP

Duration:

Adds 1 Day to DataCore High Availability FastStart

Requires:

At least 1 DataCore Traveller license (SANsymphony and Fibre Channel only!)

Description:

Provide the ability to rewind to any point-in-time instead of simply any snapshot in time.
